Christmas Gift Ideas

Hey guys!
Christmas is fast approaching and I thought I would help you think of gift ideas. I think the best gits are normally the ones that are personal, all of the things I am about to show you are more or less just a starting point, you can adapt these ideas to suit the person you are buying for.

You need to think of their interests, their hobbies, what they use a lot… If they use something all the time (for e.g., Headphones) then maybe you could think of getting them some good quality headphones or something related.

If you’re still stuck with what to buy somebody, think of what they do, imagine a day in their shoes, and then think how you could improve it.
I hope these ideas inspire you and let me know who you are buying gifts for in the comments.

I’m gonna work my way through the collage…
Starting with the earphones: I kind of already explained this in my example before, but I think that earphones (or headphones) are a really good present to buy – they come in all different designs, and the prices can range to a couple of pounds to over £100! This means that you can get them for almost everyone, just make sure that the earphones will fit the person and that they are compatible with the devices they use.

Next is the mug:  mugs are a great gift, again they come in a variety designs and they have a range of prices. I personally think that personalized mugs are a great gift for parents (assuming they drink from a mug), find a nice picture of you with them and then write a personalized message, these types of gifts are actually really easy to order, there are a number of different websites that offer personalized gift printing. I recommend Moonpig.

The Nail polish and lip gloss sets: these items are great for anyone who likes make up.  The sets are normally in gift-like a packaging which a bonus but buying a set means that you don’t have to worry too much about your choice of shade or color. Perhaps try and find out if they have a favorite brand and see if that brand does a set of something. I would however be cautious of buying any make up sets that involve choosing foundation colors as it can be very hard to guess somebody’s shade.

Perfume: perfume is a classic gift. I personally recommend the perfume that is in the collage – DKNY Paris; it smells very sweet and fresh and lingers well. I also put a picture of my favorite Hollister body spray, Hollister also make body lotions and body washes, and they all smell really great.

Vinyl or CD: Although CDs and Records seem well outdated; they seem to be making a come-back. I have noticed stores like Urban Outfitters now selling Vinyl of albums such as AM by Artic Monkeys and many more modern artists. If you know somebody that loves music and has a record player then this would be a really fun gift.

Ben & Jerry’s: I put B&Js on the collage for an example I’m really just referring to buying somebody their favorite food. If you know somebody that is obsessed with a certain type of food, then buying them some themed merchandise or even just a hamper filled with their favorites is a really great gift idea. You also have a lot of control when it comes to making up a hamper of gifts; it allows you to control exactly what you’re buying and how much it costs.

Phone Case: again phone cases are a really great opportunity to make a personalized gift. They can be easily customized with pictures and text.

And last but not least… the LUSH gift box: LUSH do amazing pre-packaged gifts. Not only do they come in amazing packaging, but there is a range of them to choose from – varying in size, price, product type… - These are great little gifts for anyone that loves bath time.

I hope you all have a Merry Christmas, or enjoy whatever you celebrate!
